16" x 12" leather saddlebag used by Dr. Moses Hayden when he practiced in Conway (ca. 1768-1804). Foldover bag with pockets secured by straps and metal buckles. Fair condition with some wear and rot damage. Attached paper tag is from original Field Memorial Library accession and reads: "Deposited 1915 by Moses Hayden Leonard II of Philadelphia PA. He received it from Molly Boyden, granddaughter of John Boyden."
