White cotton long-sleeved embroidered woman's blouse; two rows of tucks each side, front and back, with embroidered floral motif each side toward the center and on cuffs. Front button with four mother of pearl buttons. Embroidered flat collar, with dark blue bow made from hem binding (likely not original). Button-hole in collar, center back. Gathered fitted back, with ties. Stitched hem. Worn by Adeline Parsons Newhall (1826-1904).
