2 log books, 4" x 6 3/4", listing wills drafted by Samuel Conant for clients. Entered in alphabetical order by client name. Book 1 covers wills drafted from 1893-1914 and book 2 from 1914 to 1936. Each book contains more than a hundred handwritten entries, some cross-written (one entry over another at right angles). Each entry includes name, date, meeting place (Conant's office in Greenfield or home of client in nearby town), witnesses to signing of will or codicil, and where original will and copies are to be stored (office safe, client home or other).
