Three 4 1/2" x 3 " B/W photographs of the 107th C.C.C. camp at Savoy Mountain, Aug.-Sept. 1933. Two are of the camp grounds showing tents and other structures; one centers on the flag pole with U.S. flag flying. The third photo shows 23 year old Galen Hassell and an unknown man standing beside the doors of two trucks. A note states they "planted trees and Galen stayed there for several months". Photographs are identified in handwritten pen in upper left corners. Some wrinkles and creases.
