Description
15"x 10 1/2" x 10" pine box miniature model with glass front window showing cutaway view of the Boyden schoolhouse interior: teacher's desk, four bench desks with carved graffiti, two blackboards with alphabets and other chalk writing, wood stove with stove pipe and a wood box. Small detailed items include a dictionary and a bell on the teacher's desk, and twigs representing logs in the wood box. The walk-in closet on one side has a water bucket, baskets and articles of clothing hanging on pegs. Window views are watercolors showing outside view of trees and other foliage as seen from the current location.
