Description

Four standard postal cards, stamped and postmarked, addressed to either John Bond Packard or Augusta Maria Taft Packard, and found in a box of correspondence in the attic of a house on Academy Hill.
1) To John from H.S. Taft, Oct. 23, [no year], notifying him his "Bbls'"[barrels] will be at S. Deerfield depot.
2. To John from C. E. Whitney, March 28, 1888, informing him that "I do not think best to except [sic] your offer as I think I can do better. . . ."
3. To John from B. F. Bridges, Jr., June 12, 1883, notifying him of the availability of ground fish, sulfate and potash. Badly torn and stained.
4. Printed invitation card addressed to Augusta, July 1, 1884, inviting her and John to a Benson family gathering with Mr. & Mrs. Joseph Smith in Shelburne Falls, Mass. on July 30, 1884.
