Beige felt top hat, 14" (d) brim, 8 1/2" (h). Poor condition, frayed with holes and mildew. Headband and netting deteriorated but still intact. Inside on the top it is inscribed "C. Arms & Son, Manufacturers, Conway, Mass." Accompanying original cardboard hat box, torn and badly mildewed, was discarded. Item was found in the eaves of a house on Creamery Road in Ashfield, Mass.
