From donor letter: "Alex Sinclair ran the telephone exchange out of the Clark salt box located on Main St. which was later moved to Historic Deerfield. He also repaired clocks and watches in a small shack he built on the hillside by the post office." His daughter, Jeanette Blanche (1896-1986), married Merton Lee (Deane Lee's father).
