Description
18" x 25" oil on canvas painting of Gordon H. Johnson in 28" x 35" wooden gold gilt frame. Brass plate on lower frame center "Gordon H. Johnson".
The painting may be based on and is similar to a photographic print taken ca. 1900 showing Gordon in a blue Masonic Knight's Templar uniform, patterned after the Union Army uniform. The frame has some chipping and there are minor blemishes and stains on the painting.
