1-page, 8 1/2" x 14" signed warranty deed granting Arthur Delabarre a tract of land in Conway, Mass. owned by Richard Tucker for the sum of $1,500. The deed was signed by Richard and Julia Tucker in the presence of Henry Billings, Justice of the Peace, on Sept. 25, 1885. Title information on reverse side includes handwritten pencil note: "Sold to Darby" and "Lydia Pierce Darby." The land in question is possibly tract attached to the Delabarre (later Darby) store, now the Historical Society building. Paper is torn on edges.
