Description

55 unidentified photographs removed from 2 albums. Includes:

50 studio portraits, including 28 (6 1/2" x 4 1/4"), 21 (4" x 2 3/4"), and 1 (2 1/2" x 1 1/2"), most of individuals and a few of couples and families taken in studios in Wisconsin, throughout New England and especially in Western Mass. None are identified. Includes 1 Howes Brothers photograph of a white house with family members outside (No. 1154 in 1893)

5 tintypes, all rough cut and approximately 3 1/2" x 2 1/2", of family groups and 1 individual. None are identified.

The photographs were removed from acidic albums. The albums also bore no identification.
