Description
3-page contractual letter signed, handwritten on 8 1/2" x 11" lined letterhead of the Conway Electric Street Railway Company, by the manager of the Berlin Iron Bridge Company. The letter is a proposal to build a steel bridge across the Deerfield River at Conway Station. Includes a breakdown of costs and a payment schedule. On the bottom of page 2 and on page 3 is the handwritten response of the Conway Electric Street Railway Company directors, accepting the proposal subject to listed conditions. It is signed by Carlos Batchelder, Arthur P. Delabarre, Charles Parsons, Emory Brown, Fred A. Delabarre.
