Petition for Railway Extension

Conway Electric Street Railway--Mass.--Conway

Two typed copies of "request" sent by the directors of the Conway Electric Street Railway Company to the Board of Selectmen of Conway "to grant . . . a location for the extension of its railway in Conway upon the lands therein . . . ." Directors names are typed in signature block: Fred A. Delabarre, John B. Packard, Charles Parsons, Carlos Batchelder, Emery Brown, Arthur P. Delabarre. At bottom is Board of Selectmen response, under the name of Charles F. Elmer, chairman, to hereby hold a hearing on August 11, 1896, This is probably a copy made by the Selectmen.
