Typed promissory note on letterhead of Conway Electric Street Railway stating promise of payment of $7,634.61 to the Boston & Maine Railroad. Signed by Conway Electric Street Railway president, Timothy E. Byrnes, and treasurer, Herbert E. Fisher. Stamped "cancelled" twice, with multiple hole punches on signature block. Accompanying envelope includes handwritten notations stating terms of promissory note.
