Description
3-page handwritten letter from a Charles Parsons in London, England to the Editor of Scribner's Magazine in which he criticizes, line by line, Elizabeth Adam's poem "Respite," calling it "appalling rubbish." The poem was published in the June 1923 issue of Scribner's (Vol. 73, No. 6). Attached is a cutting of the poem with Charles Parsons' comments and underlinings.
Presumably, an editor at Scribner's forwarded the letter to Elizabeth Adams.
