Description
1) White cotton yoked, embroidered christening gown of the type made for a young infant. Hand sewn, 'tatted', and embroidered cotton; closed seams; 3 mother of pearl(?) buttons at back closure; 34" back of neck closure to bottom of hem; 7-1/2" shoulder-shoulder; 7" sleeve length Gingham-type fabric, with hand-made tatting at neck, yoke and sleeves. Yoke is an eyelet-type fabric.
2) Baby undergarment, possibly worn under christening gown. Fine lawn white cotton, 19" in length, with 7" sleeves, 6" shoulder span, rucking, white embroidery on bodice, lace on neck and sleeve edges, and 2 mother of pearl buttons.
3) White cotton baby dress with white embroidery and lace on neck line, arm holes and the hem. 8" shoulder to shoulder, 17" long. With 2 mother of pearl buttons at the shoulder.
